Cream, the annual global showcase of the twenty hottest young creative teams and individuals, handpicked by the industry’s most influential figures, held by The Talent Business, the world leader in executive search for creative businesses, delivered a night to be remembered for the 17th consecutive year.

Held every September, Cream connects young hopefuls to the ECDs of the world’s leading creative agencies and brands, and this year culminated in a private view hosted by O+M London, at their new space within the Sea Containers Building. The event featured a hard-hitting new format that saw our winners take to the stage to present a selection of their work.

Cream winners have gone on to create famous, award-winning work, become high profile ECDs and start successful agencies.  Through Cream creatives have secured placements at agencies including Droga5, Google Creative Lab, adam&eveDDB, Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy and Mother.  Previous winners have come from Watford, SCA 2.0, Central St Martins, CUCA, DMJX: Kreativ Kommunikation, Berghs School of Communication and Miami Ad School – Cream has become an international platform for undiscovered creativity.

The night proved a huge success with all twenty finalists securing interviews and follow up meetings with top agencies and CCO’s.

“The standard was higher than ever. Agencies and creative tech companies are fighting to spot raw talent they can nurture in order to future proof their businesses. Cream is the perfect platform to showcase undiscovered creativity, the currency of our industry" - Katriona Fraser, Managing Partner & Head of Creative Talent at The Talent Business

Judging took place throughout July and August, when a dedicated jury made up of senior creative directors from the world’s leading advertising agencies and creative businesses selected the most pioneering work.

“O+M was proud to host Cream this year, and all the finalists proved worthy. The new format worked brilliantly and proved the importance of being able to also articulate an idea as well as put one down on paper.” - Mick Mahoney, CCO at O+M
